Bio

Chef Ericka Burke is the Chef/Owner of Volunteer Park Cafe. For Burke, cooking has always been about creating community; providing simple, fresh, seasonal food and a place to replenish, relax, and converse. A Seattle native, Burke was the chef/owner of restaurants in New York City and San Francisco before opening Volunteer Park Cafe in 2007, which has become a beloved “third place” for the North Capitol Hill neighborhood.
