Bio

Chef John Howie is chef and owner of some of the Seattle area's most prominent restaurants that feature local sustainable meat and seafood, including Seastar. Howie was nominated Outstanding Restaurateur by the James Beard Foundation in 2013 and has been invited to be a guest chef at the James Beard House on five occasions.
