Michael Johnson is the Executive Chef for Seahawks First & Goal Hospitality. In his role, Chef Johnson oversees all general concessions and premium dining at CenturyLink Field & Event Center, which includes Seattle Seahawks games, Sounders FC matches, stadium concerts, events in WaMu Theater and private/corporate events. With more than 28 years in the food and beverage industry, Chef Johnson has a passion for culinary excellence and providing fresh, local and sustainable food as well as superior service in the Pacific Northwest’s premier sports & entertainment facility. Through his slow food philosophy, he also supports dozens of small local businesses and culinary based youth organizations. Prior to First & Goal Hospitality, Chef Johnson worked for as an Executive Chef for Delaware North, as well as Executive Chef and Director of Operations for Centerplate. A native of Louisiana, Chef Johnson studied Hotel Restaurant Management at the University of Central Missouri, as well as a Culinary Arts degree from the Culinary Arts Institute of Louisiana.
